At the behest of mightyinkas , I've been convinced to make a post of all of the really funny pictures I've compiled that, well, hate on Twilight. See original post here.  

I usually don't hate on something like this. I'm more of a live and let live kind of person. I'm normally not one for taking potshots... but Twilight makes it so easy. >_> Just to be clear, though, I'm not trying to be malicious. See this comment by me explaining my thoughts on the quality of Twilight. This is all in good fun. You'll laugh. I promise. 


The vast majority of these come from the Mark Reads Harry Potter blog's comments... which explains the continual references to Harry Potter as well.

It is extremely easy to mock. Potential/probable-roomie and I ended up talking about it... she brought it up because we were talking about Harry Potter, that was it, and then we were talking about the sparkly vampires.

NOT. FUCKING. VENOMOUS. In any sense of the word. Poisonous, yes, but NO VENOM.

But isn't poison passive (like poisonous frogs that seem it through their skin, or poisonous plants that will make you ill/kill you if you injest them) and venom active (like scorpion or snake venom that must be injected by the animal)?

Although if you're talking in a metaphorical sense, yes, the Twilight series is probably poisoning the minds of your youngfolk... ;)

It depends on the origin of the venom. Apparently they've changed definitions, since komodo dragons follow no standards of poison previously known. (Also, holy crap. Vicious, big, giant bite of sharp teeth, AND its venom thins blood. It's one of many animals I never want to see up close and personal without sturdy zoo enclosures between me and the lizard.)

Ugh. NOBODY should want an Edward, except perhaps as someone for a much more desirable life-partner to utterly destroy in comparison.

The only Edward that I would want in my life would be an Edward Elric. Fullmetal Alchemist was one of my strongest fandoms for the longest time.

Most Edwards that I know are jerks. One is my cousin. He CAN be nice when he so chooses, but he's generally a jerk and rather condescending about it.
