If you said "Carmen Sandiego", you rock. :)

A map of the places that I have been to! The red in the united states is misleading, though - I've been to Maui, and haven't yet set foot on the mainland except as a stopover in Seattle.

Date: 2009-01-23 02:27 pm (UTC)Seriously, that was my favourite game for years. I remember, our informatics class in highschool was incredibly dull, so somebody had saved a copy of the first game of "carmen sandiego" in every computer. Every time the teacher's back was turned, we started playing it... and no matter how often the teachers deleted it from the computers, we'd always save it back. You see, that game was just the right size to fit into a floppy disk, so when the teacher had to leave the class to run an errand, we'd quickly pass a copy around so that we could save it back. Oh, those were the good days... XD
Though I've only managed to catch her in the first game twice, and only once in the "travels through time". She's darn sneaky. :x

Date: 2009-01-23 02:43 pm (UTC)It was really fun back then. The teacher only had to turn his back on us a second before you started hearing the trademark "carmen sandiego" music, signalling the game loading on at least half the computers in the room. XD
Me, I always liked to play it on my own (maybe that's why she slipped from me so many times); I remember all the time I spent memorizing flags because, more often than not, the only clue as to where she'd gone was "she boarded a ship with a read and white flag", or something like that. ^^U
My favourite villain of all the games is Justin Case, hands down. I've had so much fun using his name... Pity only English-speaking people get the pun. ^^U
(btw, you didn't get a chance to check my ficcie yet, by any chance, did you? *puppy eyes*)

Yeah, Justin case. So if I ever answer a "Why" question with "Because of my dear friend Justin", you know who I am referring to. XD
