Oh, the train conductors are even grumpier. ;) They have nothing better to do than punch the fake tickets and grumble at people. Some of them are nice, especially to kids, but if you try to take a stroller onto one of those trains (especially those massive, industrial-sized ones with huge rubber wheels), prepare to get a verbal beat-down. D:
Are you in the States right now, or across the pond? Because you could always make a weekend trip up here and I could teach you about carnivals and gaffed games and how they used to fake freakshows... ;)
If not, I could probably make a post later on (after many of my Edmonton-area friends have visited me and heard first-hand) with all of the interesting bits. It just wouldn't be as cool without illustrating photos.
