"How did you do that?"

~Author = I don't know, but they've got to be awesome.
So... I figured out how to put pictures on the computer! XD And yay for photobucket! So... Here are some pictures I've taken so far. I apologize if they're much too large and take too long to load. Be patient! Some of the later ones are pretty trippy.
So first up I have a picture of a firetruck, from the Edmonton Garrison. This was taken on Christmas day, when my dad, mum, brother and I went out to go see the firemen on duty and give them Christmas chocolates. ^_^ They let us go up the ladder on the truck, but to extend the thing they need to have the truck perfectly level... So the truck extends four braces and they raise the entire thing about a foot off the ground (depending, of course, on how much of an angle the vehicle is parked on). I was quite amazed - this thing has to weigh at least several tons, and... none of the wheels were touching the ground. Here's the best picture that illustrated that.

Wicked awesome! XD
Next, I just have a few pictures of scenery taken on a walk around the neighborhood I live in (don't worry, mum, the internet stalkers you won't find me this way - none of these were taken on my street, so ...)

In case you can't tell, it was around dusk - but both were taken on different days. Dusk is my favorite time of the day/night. :)
And here... is were I realized that my camera doesn't take pictures of moving things well when I'm in Night Scenery mode.

ZOMG THE CAR IS INVISABLE!!!1!1!
Of course, then I started having fun... taking pictures of traffic and getting REALLY funky light effects (man, my Comm Tech photography teacher would probably eviscerate me for thinking such crappy blurred pictures are artistic... But come on, they look so cool! XD

(The Green lights are trafic lights, the yellow ones are headlights)

Aaaaand... That's all for now! XD I'm tired of uploading pictures, but I'll be sure to update my journal more often with more photographs. ^_^ Happy New Year, everyone!
