My thoughts on snow...
Well... we have snow! Finally! This winter, it's pretty much been brown the entire time (as in, what little snow we get melts instantly). But last week, it started snowing, and hasn't really stopped for more than an hour or two! :D I'm so happy, even though it means I have to start shovelling loads of snow off the driveway.
Another thing to celebrate because of this snowfall (because I'm obsessive compulsive about my job) is that these dozens of boxes of shovels (they're called "snow-pushers" on the box, which makes me giggle) that have been kicking around my backroom (at Superstore) for months are finally getting sold. Woot! Now I have space to squeeze though back there!
Speaking of work and snow, I was brushing off snow from my windshield washer fluid outside at work today with one of those snow brushes originally intended for the use on cars, and, well... I felt like a dentist. See, the bottles were blocky and white, and the brush looked just like a jumbo toothbrush, so I seriously felt like I was brushing the teeth of some giant. ^_^ Makes life interesting.
Anyway, it's really beautiful outside, despite the cold. I've always thought that snow is what you get in return for it being cold outside, and that you're being gyped it you can't get snow in return for frozen fingers and toes, you know? When I was a child, I thought that snow was what made winter cold. You know, like icecubes made the glass of water cold? It's like that - snow is earth's icecubes. So I was really confused when it was brown outside, no snow... but whatever.
So... yay snow! :)
