Mrs.Hart, telling a "hitman" to kill off a guy named Taylor in Japanese.

Yup, I'm taking Japanese. Night classes, twice a week. ^_^ I've already gone to one lesson, and there's another one tonight. It's quite fun; I already know the teacher from the anime club at school, and it's a very fascinating language. I also know at least three other people there, so it's not like I'm all alone in a hostile environment.

The class is loads of fun. While going through basic instructions (ie, sit down, hand in your paper, close the door, etc.), we learnt how to tell a hitman who to kill, in Japanese. (Oh, the crazy things you learn when we're all slightly tired and crazy :P ). The order was "turn off the light", but "keshite" (turn off) also means "erase" -- which is slang for killing someone. (You know, like saying "I'll wipe him off the face of the earth" or something) ^_^ So "Taylor wo keshite kudasigh" was written on the board (because a guy named Taylor was coming in late for some reason), and we all giggled when he came in. Yes, we are all crazy. >:)
So, it's lots of fun. Hard, though; the sheer amount of vocabulary is astronomical! Not as large as the English vocabulary, but each word can have several different meanings, and more if you pronounce it slightly differently or change the context (did you know that there's a word that means both "father" and "breast"? O_o; )
