One thing I'm wondering about: so how exactly did Orochimaru and Voldemort meet? You wrote that Orochimaru had met him in the decades he'd been traveling (between leaving Konoha and joining the Akatsuki), but... this may be my memory failing me, but was it ever said when Orochimaru joined the Akatsuki? I presume that the Yondaime had a rather short tenure, maybe a year or two before Kyuubi came. Orochimaru probably left Konoha after the declaration of Yondaime but before the Kyuubi attack, so we'll say a year before the Kyuubi attack for estimation's purpose. We know he was in Akatsuki when Itachi joined; it seems like Itachi joined very soon after the massacre, when Sasuke was seven (I think? :/), so that's around 8 years total, with Orochimaru leaving Akatsuki sometime after that. So it depends on how long Orochimaru was in Akatsuki before Itachi came.
Also, just wondering--how would you combine the Narutoverse and HPverse? I've seen a lot of stuff where the Hidden Countries are literally "hidden"--Unplottable or something of the sort and isolated from the HPverse world. Is that what you're going to use? :) And hmm, okay, I think it would work out with the HP timeline, if you have Orochimaru meeting Voldemort sometime in that decade where Voldemort's basically a spirit floating around. Although in that case, how would Voldemort make Orochimaru into a Horcrux? *curious*
The Akatsuki didn't have former members. Their agents either died in the field, were killed by each other (usually due to quarrels, but sometimes assassinations), or had tragic "accidents" if they tried to leave the organization. The Akatsuki were very good at arranging "accidents". XDD That is the win!
It would be highly amusing to have Deidara as the unknown female bomber who's helping the Order. XP I like how Deidara's integrated into the effort to stop Voldemort.
However, the hat sympathises with him, assuming that Sasori is also a bit of soul that someone shed and stuck into an "inanimate" object, then discarded. It's less of a "ZOMG you're an inhuman puppet!" thing than a "Rock on, brother! What house do you want to be in?" thing. That sounds like a very, very interesting interaction. :DD Also, Sasori's reaction to the Imperius as "that's not art"--priceless, indeed. He has higher standards than that! :P
Transfiguration and Avada Kedavra reference, that would be awesome. XP
Ahhh, so that's how Deidara turns briefly into a puppet! XD I like how Sasori disembowels the Death Eater and turns him/her into a puppet. I'm curious to hear how the Hogwarts faculty would react to Sasori's actions , though...
Sasori's face had the peculiar blankness he adopted whenever he was no longer presenting himself as human. It was a noticible change; he was creepy enough when he wasn't trying to be human. "noticible" --> "noticeable" but anyway--XDD I like the contrast of trying to be human and not trying, and in both cases still being very creepy. :P
