"The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."

Bleh... Today's the last day of our four day long weekend (monday was Thanksgiving, and today's a PD Day for my schoolboard). Why do these weekends go by so quickly? *sighs*

I'm tired, so I'm probably going to be taking a nap later... as soon as I finish my killer Heart of Darkness Essay! Blargh. Our teacher gave us like, a dozen essay topics to choose from, but most I seriously can't write five pages on. For example, one was "Marlow says that "all the wisdom, and all the thruth, and all the sincerity are just compressed into that inappreciable moment of time in which we step over the threshold of the invisible." Discuss Marlow or Kurtz in terms of this observation". Ick. :P

I ended up choosing "Discuss Marlow's attitude toward colonization, suggesting whether or not he finds it neccesary and beneficial", because I can explain how he feels and the begging of the book, during the course of it, and at the end, and make a distinction between "neccessity" and "beneficial". *sighs* I better go get started...

BTW, quote in title by Albert Einstein.
