I really do want to take a class or two of German, just because. I was born in Germany (on a Canadian military base) and I was exposed to the language constantly until I was nearly three, and I know that children are little language sponges at that age... At the moment I only know how to count to nine, say yes, no, thank you, you're welcome and the name of my favourite kind of sausage. ;) However, I wonder how much I have still stuck in the far recesses of my mind, and I wonder how much of it would come out were I to be reminded...
