Oh, that French? I said "Do you understand French as well? If not, I can teach you!" (And the offer still stands. ;) )
Montreal probably does. Plus, Montreal has better character, as a city, than Toronto. Toronto grew too quickly, you know?
Yeah, doing your best no matter what is good advice. :3 Do you know which college you'll be going to?
